Earth Building
Project Partner: Kunming University of Science and Technology
Project Information:
- There are more than 1,000 Yi immigrants who are living in remote mountainous towns and villages.
- Their earth houses are in poor condition and the structure was damaged.
- Target to build demonstration projects to encourage these people to build their houses by using anti-seismic rammed earth construction methods.

May 2022 - The team started to build another 8 rammed earth houses and expected to complete the project by Jan 2023.
Jul 2021 - completion of all construction work
Apr 2021 - commencement of foundation work for 5 households
